October 1st is China’s National Day. This year, the whole country celebrates the birthday of the motherland.
On October 1, 1949, a ceremony was held in Beijing (formerly known as Peiping) for the establishment of the Central People’s Government of the People’s Republic of China, marking the establishment of the People’s Republic of China.
